Productivity Mainstreaming Workshop Strengthens Efficiency in Forest Sector

On March 26, 2026, the State Department for Forestry participated in a Productivity Mainstreaming Workshop held at the Kenya Forest Service headquarters in Karura.

The workshop, led by Deputy Director, Human Resource Management and Development Mr. Charles Ongiri, brought together senior technical officers and support staff to strengthen efficiency, performance, and service delivery across the sector.

The session was officially opened by Under Secretary Mr. Kihara Ndung’u.

The engagement underscored the importance of embedding productivity practices within forestry institutions to enhance institutional effectiveness and support the delivery of national priorities, including sustainable forest management.
